Wineries La Val Rias Baixas
Traditionally the area that encompasses the Rías Baixas has been geographically suitable for the cultivation of grapes that later in their treatment have been deserving of awards and great critics, getting to be established as one of the best known and most valued wines in Spain. In this Protected Designation of Origin, varieties can be found Albariño, Rías Baixas, Rías Baixas Barrica, red and sparkling (white and red).
One of the pioneering wineries in the cultivation and treatment of grapes in Galicia, is La Val Wineries, located in Salvaterra de Miño. His white wine, of variety Albariño, both young and fermented, has become the perfect accompaniment for fish and shellfish, as well as being an excellent choice for white meats, and even for cheeses, pasta and rice.
Variety Albariño 2017 from this winery stands out for its straw yellow color with green flashes, leaving the diner with intense aromas of fresh herbs and citrus notes, with a persistent and intense background. Another variety, available in MADE IN SPAIN, is the white wine Bodegas La Val fermented in Barrica (2010), without a doubt a great choice for a consumer looking for more intense and balanced nuances. With a golden yellow color with greenish tones, fruit scraps such as peach and reinette apple are appreciated, together with the persistent taste of the wood of the barrel in which it has been fermented.
