Monte Odina Roble 2015 DO Somontano
Monte Odina Roble 2015 is one of the great examples of the know-how of the Somontano wineries. Combination of the Cabernet, Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah grapes in perfect harmony with an aging of 3 months in French oak barrels that finishes rounding it and giving it a touch of complexity. A red wine of medium intensity, fine and elegant as befits the wines of the area. Gold medal at the Bacchus 2017 awards.
Tasting notes: Bright cherry red color with a high layer and violet rim. On the nose the wine is clear and with intense aromas of ripe black fruits, combined with spicy and toasted notes, contributed by the aging. The palate is fruity, full and tasty with excellent balance and long persistence.
Destemmed and crushed.
Pre-fermentative maceration 6 days at 10ºC
Fermentation up to 25ºC, with two daily overruns.
After the alcoholic fermentation, bleeding and pressing.
The wine remains in French oak barrels (funds) and American oak (staves) for three months.
